A retired Marine Officer and Gulf War veteran, Henry Fischer has been a consultant with Gap International for more than 20 years.

 

He brings a unique combination of experience in leading organizational performance consulting initiatives in both the public and private sectors. As a senior consultant, Mr. Fischer works closely with executives and their teams of Global 1000 companies in delivering breakthroughs in performance.

 

He has extensive experience in manufacturing, government, nuclear power, mining, oil & gas, consumer goods, and financial services.

 

Mr. Fischer is co-accountable for all aspects of the training and development of Gap International consultants. Before assuming his current role, Mr. Fischer was accountable for Gap International’s government business where he worked extensively with multinational corporations and U.S. government agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Department of Defense.

 

During his career in the Marine Corps, Mr. Fischer held various command and staff positions, including Artillery Battery Commander, Artillery Battalion Operations Officer, and Assistant Director of the Marine Corps Drill Instructor's School. While serving as a Marine Office Instructor for the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps, he was accountable for a four-year leadership training program for future Navy and Marine Corps officers and taught two military history courses at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Fischer has served as adjunct faculty at the Federal Executive Institute.

 

Mr. Fischer received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota, and holds a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Dynamics of Organization program.
